Xerox International the world leader in Document Management Solutions, along with their partners, will focus on the growing importance of information technology, color & multifunction solutions for document processes at Gitex this year. Xerox is to make a number of major announcements that complement their focus on new products & technology innovations along with the details of their new regional office at Dubai Internet City.
If the region thought that launching over 30 products globally in GITEX 2004 was a big endorsement of the region by Xerox, then their presence at GITEX 2005 will be bigger this year not only through greater visibility on stand, but with their latest product line ups and major new network announcements. The area will be a show case for Xerox’s latest ground breaking technology innovations in Digital Print & Colour. It will also be a platform for Xerox to spread the message on the importance of Information & Document management to businesses in the Middle East. Visitors to Gitex 2005 will see how Xerox is engaging the region further with relevant solutions to cater to their specific document management needs.
One of Xerox’s main messages for the region is that the focus should be on the “I” in IT! The “big I, small t” message underlines the importance that Xerox places on the technology and innovation behind managing information rather than focusing on technical speeds & feeds. Xerox will communicate this through their depth of professional consultation and assessment services, as well as their leadership in the Document Management arena.
“Businesses and organizations in the Middle East region appreciate the value of their data and go to great lengths to protect this major asset. At Xerox we have the depth of knowledge, the experience and the technology to manage those document
management processes. We are looking forward to showcasing our latest innovative printing and colour solutions to visitors to the show,” says Ben Gale, General Manager, Sales and Marketing, distributor operations, Xerox International.
Xerox International invests over US$7 Billion annually in technology research and developments, and 75% of this is spent on color research & development. The resulting innovations and products place Xerox at the forefront of technology innovation. Xerox as a leader and champion in the New Business of Printing offers the largest portfolio of digital color and monochrome technology.
The demand for colour is growing! More businesses are migrating from black & white to colour. Companies are realizing that the use of colour in their documents is maximizing business retention, improving their presentation and image and endorsing their quality and value to their customers and suppliers.
Xerox’s strength is in providing tailor made solutions that meet a complete range of customer requirements, “with our easy to use technology and a comprehensive consultation process we make the transition process to color hassle free for our customers,” added Gale. “At GITEX 2005 we will be highlighting a number of cutting-edge color devices along with our latest workflow solutions. This is in line with our aim to transform how people work by providing cost effective, innovative and easy to use technology to businesses in the region.”
Since their establishment in the region in 1983 Xerox has been expanding their coverage and building a strong customer base in the Middle East. “As part of our commitment to the region we are working closely with our partners to maximize the awareness of information technology and the value adds which we can offer businesses in the Middle East. We do this by implementing our route to market strategy which means that we are talking to our customers about their print process and the challenges that they face. Once we understand their requirements we deliver a print solution which is tailor made and fits their specific print needs.” Says Ben Gale, General Manager, Sales and Marketing, distributor operations, Xerox International.
As part of Xerox expansion plans for the Middle East the company has scheduled to open a new office in Dubai. The new Regional Headquarters will be strategically located in Dubai Internet City and will be the base for Xerox to provide service & support for over 12,000 customers with their work process.
Xerox experienced notable growth in the Middle East in the last year and is forecasting that this will continue into 2006. At GITEX 2005 Xerox will highlight the importance of their growing commitment to the region and the development of the channel & key partners in order to continue to deliver smarter document processes, boost productivity and cut costs through innovative consulting and managed services to companies who are involved in the business of printing at every level.
