Work has started on a 15-million-dollars Disney-style aqua park in the south-east of Bahrain, reported the Gulf News on Saturday.
The project marks the first phase of the new 796-million-dollar Durrat Al Bahrain Resort City.
The township, financed by Saudi-based the Dallah Al Baraka Group, will be developed in phases over the next three years, said the paper.
The construction contract for the aqua park has been awarded to the Saudi-based Fast Contracting Company – Albawaba.com
