West Bank: Israeli officer stabbed, two Palestinians arrested

A Palestinian man stabbed an Israeli police officer in the West Bank city of Hebron on Friday morning, lightly wounding him. Israeli officers at the site of the attack arrested the Palestinian, Israel Radio reported.

 

Also Friday, two Palestinian were arrested by Israeli forces in the West Bank. Eyewitnesses told WAFA that Israeli soldiers backed by tanks and armoured vehicles swept into Hebron city and some of its villages and towns, and launched a wide search campaign into Palestinian houses. They added that Israeli soldiers arrested one man.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers broke into some houses in Marda town of Salfeet city. An eyewitness said that Israeli soldiers launched an all-out search campaign, arresting a man.
