West Bank: Fatah activists execute suspected collaborator with Israel

Palestinian activists shot dead a 19-year-old man who they blamed of helping Israeli intelligence agents track down Palestinian resistanc fighters, Palestinian security officials said Monday. 
 

According to the AP, the officials said Jad al-Hindi was abducted late Sunday by Fatah's Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades. Early Monday, police located Al-Hindi's body, saying he had been shot in the head 12 times.

 

An Al Aqsa spokesman told the AP al-Hindi helped Israeli undercover units track down and kill three of its members in Ramallah on Nov. 21. According to sources in the Brigades, al-Hindi confessed to having collaborated with the Israeli Shin Bet (Israel's domestic intelligence service).

 

Meanwhile, a Qassam rocket landed in an open area near Israel's southern city of Sderot on Monday morning. No injuries or property damage were reported.
