Volume of Tunisian Crude Oil Exported in 2000 Down, but Revenues Rose

The volume of Tunisian crude oil exports in 2000 stood at 3.01 million tons worth 835 million dinars (about 695 million dollars), down from the 3.27 million tons in 1999, official reports showed. 

Despite the decline of oil exports by 7 percent, oil revenues rose by 314 million dollars, said the Chinese official news agency (Xinhua). 

Meanwhile, Tunisia imported 1.19 million tons of crude oil, worth 342 million dinars (about 285 million dollars), it added – Albawaba.com
