Vietnam's Prime Minister to visit Algeria, Morocco

Vietnam's Prime Minister Phan Van Khai will pay official visits to Algeria, Morocco and South Africa from Nov. 17-25, the Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday. 

 

According to the Foreign Ministry, PM Khai and the three African countries' leaders will review ways to promote bilateral cooperation, especially in economics and trade. 

 

According to VNA, Viet Nam and Africa have seen trade volumes rising from US$300 million in 2003 to more than $265 million in the first half of the current year. At present, some 3,500 Vietnamese nationals are working in the African continent. (albawaba.com)
