ALBAWABA - Poland announced today that a large number of Russian drones violated its airspace, as the interior ministry confirmed on Wednesday that drones caused damage to a house and a car.
Seven drones and debris from an unknown projectile had so far been located, the ministry added.
"We have found seven drones and projectile debris... of unknown origin," interior ministry spokeswoman Karolina Galecka told reporters at a press conference.
On the other hand, Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz outlined that "more than ten objects" entered the country's airspace, stressing that this is considered a serious risk to Poland's security.
Furthermore, Chopin Airport in Warsaw announced a temporary closure and the halt of flights for a few hours.
Video: Polish president shows 'readiness for war' from the GYM
In response, Karol Nawrocki, the president of Poland, posted a video on his official X account from the gym and captioned it, "Quick workout to end the day.
See you tomorrow."
The video gained over 1 million views in a short time, in addition to hundreds of comments that mocked the president, claiming that he is showing his strength in the face of any possible war from the gym.
An X user said, "Get to work, Russian drones over Poland, and here people are posting gym videos, what a total joke."
A person commented, "Mr. President, what's on the headphones?" Another wrote, "Meanwhile, Russian drones are flying in our sky. Good morning, please tell the supreme commander of the armed forces. I just couldn't fall asleep."
