ALBAWABA - A strong explosion rocked outside the headquarters of Pakistan's Frontier Corps in the southwestern city of Quetta on Tuesday afternoon, Al Jazeera reported.

The news outlet also mentioned that the blast left at least 10 people killed and over 30 others injured on the Zarghoon Road in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province. "Two law enforcement personnel were killed while the rest of the dead were civilians," Bakht Muhammad Kakar, the provincial health minister, said to Al Jazeera.

After the strong explosion, heavy gunfire was also heard in the vicinity of Zarghoon Road in Quetta.

Footage, captured by a security camera, documenting the moment of the explosion, went viral on social media. It showed a vehicle turning towards the regional headquarters of the Frontier Corps (FC) and exploding within seconds.

Rescue personnel and policemen arrived at the scene of the incident to conduct search operations, according to a report by Pakistan's Aaj news.
