ALBAWABA - A surveillance balloon belonging to the United States forces was taken down in the Al-Omar oil field east of Deir ez-Zor, Syria, local media reported on Saturday.
The group behind shooting down the US Balloon is still unknown as no further information has been given yet by either the Syrian government or the US army.
However, the American military in Syria intensified their jets' flights near the site where the surveillance balloon was flying before it was taken down.
