The American Education Expo will return to Bahrain Sunday, February 25, 2007 at the Sheraton Bahrain Hotel and Towers in Manama. The United States remains the top destination for foreign students seeking higher education. In 2005, over 560,000 students from around the world enrolled at American colleges and universities. The stabilizing numbers prove that America is still the home of the best college education money can buy. The American institutions are also still able to offer this invaluable investment at affordable prices.

Along with the ability to meet admissions representatives, and a student visa seminar hosted by a Visa Consulate officer, the Expo now hosts a Scholarship Fair. Students will be able to find out about the scholarship opportunities at the presenting colleges and universities. We ask students to bring multiple copies of their report cards, transcripts, and TOFEL scores to the Expo. This will allow the representatives to determine your admission eligibility, and how much you can earn towards your education!

The event will open at 5 PM and run until 8 pm, with the Visa seminar starting at 4 PM. This event is organized and supported by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Embassy Public Affairs office.
