Delta Air Lines plans to launch thrice-weekly, direct Dubai - New York Kennedy International Airport flights, said a press release.
The service, using an MD-11 aircraft with an eight-ton cargo capacity, will be launched on June 18, to ship time-sensitive cargo on a same-day basis.
A Delta official said that "we have received strong interest from the UAE cargo community, from freight forwarders, agents and shippers.”
Delta flight DL 121 will depart Dubai International every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 7:00 and arrive in JFK at 3:30 local time – Albawaba.com
