ALBAWABA - Tensions continue to escalate along the Lebanon-Israel border as both parties engage in retaliatory measures. Israel has declared striking Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon in response to attacks originating from Lebanese territories.
In a formal statement from the Israeli military, a barrage of rockets and artillery shells has been reported since last night, launched from Lebanon into northern Israeli regions.
The statement emphasized no casualties or injuries in the recent incident, highlighting Israel's retaliatory strikes specifically aimed at the sources of the attacks. Additionally, Israeli aircraft reportedly executed a series of nighttime attacks targeting Hezbollah locations in Lebanon.
Since the onset of the conflict on October 8, casualties have been reported, including 23 Lebanese civilians, 97 Hezbollah members, and 6 Israeli soldiers. The situation remains highly charged, with no signs of de-escalation from either side, heightening concerns about the ongoing unrest along the border.
