Unbeaten junior welterweight champion Zab Judah will defend his International Boxing Federation crown August 5 against former champion Terronn Millett in a battle of Americans, promoters announced Friday.
Judah, 23-0 with 17 knockouts, has stopped nine foes in the first round and halted six of his past seven opponents inside the distance. Millett is 22-1 with one drawn and 17 knockouts entering the fight at Uncasville, Connecticut.
Judah captured the vacant IBF crown with a fourth-round knockout of Jan Bergman in February and defended the title June 24 with a 12-round decision over Junior Witter in Glasgow, Scotland - (AFP)
