General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is also Dubai's crown prince and the UAE's defense minister, returned home Monday following a short visit to Paris, during which he signed a cooperation agreement in the heritage protection field with UNESCO, reported the official Emirati news agency (WAM).
According to the agency, the agreement is the first of its kind in the region and is aimed at protecting the UAE's heritage.
