UAE tugboat attacked in Strait of Hormuz, 3 crew members missing

ALBAWABA - Indonesia's Foreign Ministry said that three nationals, who were on board the  United Arab Emirates-flagged tugboat Musaffah 2, are missing after it sank in the Strait of Hormuz on Friday.

"One Indonesian survivor is currently receiving burn treatment at a hospital in the city of Khasab, Oman. The other three Indonesians are still being searched for by the local authorities," Jakarta's foreign ministry said in a statement.

According to AFP, the UAE-flagged Musaffah 2 was hit, and fire erupted before it sank, the statement added.

A probe is underway by local authorities.
