UAE and Sri Lanka held a meeting Sunday to discuss a draft extradition treaty between the two states. The UAE side was led by Dr. Ali Ibrahim al Hossani, Assistant Undersecretary for Legislation, National Issues and Fatwa Affairs at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Awqaf, while the Sri Lankan side was led by S.N. Sylvia.
The treaty is to be be signed Monday during a meeting at the Attorney General's office, WAM reported. (Albawaba.com)
