ALBAWABA - The office of Israeli Prime Minister said that Benjamin Netanyahu had secretly visited the United Arab Emirates during the war with Iran and held talks with President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

In a statement, the Prime Minister's Office said, "In the midst of Operation Roaring Lion, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu secretly visited the United Arab Emirates, where he met with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed."

It added, "This visit has led to a historic breakthrough in relations between Israel and the UAE."

The United Arab Emirates has denied reports circulating about a visit by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the country or the reception of any Israeli military delegation on its territory.

According to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, "The UAE affirms that its relations with Israel are public relations, established within the framework of the well-known and publicly declared Abraham Accords, and are not based on secrecy or clandestine arrangements. Therefore, any claims regarding undeclared visits or arrangements are baseless unless issued by the competent official authorities in the UAE."

WAM added: "The UAE calls on media outlets to exercise accuracy and refrain from circulating unverified information or using it to create political impressions."
