The United Arab Emirates on Wednesday called on the European Union (EU) and especially its president Italy to intervene to end the Israeli aggression and violence against the Palestinian people and to help establish an independent Palestinian state.
These remarks came during UAE foreign ministry undersecretary Saif Sa'ed meeting with the Italian parliamentary delegation on Wednesday, according to the Emirati official news agency (WAM).
The Italian delegation pointed out Italy’s supportive stand toward the Palestinian people and the importance of establishing an independent Palestinian state led by Palestinian President Yasser Arafat.
The Italian delegation expressed their appreciation for UAE’s cooperation in fighting global terrorism and its humanitarian aid to the Afghan people. (Albawaba.com)
