UAE Allocates $324m for New Construction Projects

The UAE’s Ministry of Public Works and Housing has allocated a long-term budget of $324 million for the implementation of a number of new projects in the Gulf state, reported the Gulf News. 

Khalid Ali Al Kaabi, head of the ministry's public relations department, said the projects included new schools, hospitals, roads and police stations. He said 32 of the projects were for the ministry of the interior.  

Forty-one projects will be for the ministry of education and youth, he said, adding that 19 projects would be set up for the health ministry – Albawaba.com
