The proceeds from Thursday’s sales at the seven branches of the Body Shop in the UAE will be donated to the Palestinian cause, according to Hassan Zein El Din, the firm's local creative marketing manager.
He told the Khaleej Times that the proceeds would be donated to Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation to pass them to the Palestinians.
The charitable project was launched by the Body Shop following the establishment of its creative marketing division, El Din told the Emirati paper.
He said the purpose of the project was to promote public awareness about the Palestinian cause.
