Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali received Abderrahim Zouari, Minister of Transport on June 27 to discuss a report on the implementation of new projects in the local transportation sector. La Presse reports that within the framework of these new projects, the Sejoumi Center will be able to accommodate 1,100 vehicles per day, which means double of its present capacity.
During his meeting with the Minister of Transport, and in line with the treaty of “open sky”, the President ordered that that the Tabarka and Tozeur airports will be open to international flights in order to increase the tourist activity and to ensure that Tunisian expatriates can visit Tunisia easily.
