Two earthquakes measuring 4.7 and 3.9 on the Richter scale jolted the town of Bahabad in central Iranian province of Yazd early Tuesday, <i>IRNA</i> news agency reported.
The quakes occurred at 6:44 a.m. and 7:14 a.m. (0214 and 0244 GMT respectively), the news agency reported, adding that the epicenter of the quakes was about 200 kilometers southeast of the provincial capital of Yazd.
