Two Palestinians were injured in an explosion in a school laboratory in Nablus, Israel Radio reported Tuesday, cited by Haaretz.
Fares Hames, 21, and Fadi Suleiman, 20, suffered moderate burns following the explosion, the report said, without elaborating on the nature of the explosion.
Meanwhile, Israeli Channel Two claimed a mortar shell was fired the same day at the Karni crossing in the Gaza Strip. There were no injuries reported, said the paper.
According the Palestinian news agency (WAFA), the Israeli occupation troops had earlier in the day closed the road linking Ramallah and Bir Zeit.
The road agency said that hundreds of Palestinians had to walk to the nearby open road to complete their morning journey to their work places.
