Two Lebanese men were killed and one injured in a shooting spree Tuesday in a coffee shop reportedly used for gambling, reported the Daily Star newspaper.
Ahmad Hassan Barakat, 53, and Abbas Mahmoud Zreik, 27, were killed by an unidentified gunman when Fadi Salim, who allegedly runs the alleged gambling establishment, refused to pay him hush money, judicial sources told the paper.
The gunman asked the men in the shop to leave, but none did. The sources said he left the shop and returned opening fire with a Kalashnikov.
