Jordan Investment Trust (Jordinvest) announced that it sponsored the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute – Jordan Branch’s annual graduation commencement which took place last week, whereby two of Jordinvest’s senior staff earned their CFA designation.
Jordinvest's Vice President for Research, Ms. Maria-Gabriella Khoury and Vice President for Capital Markets and Asset Management, Mr. Qutaiba Al-Hawamdeh, joined the 64,000 charter holders in 114 countries and territories after receiving their designation in Jordan.
The CFA charter is the only globally recognized credential for investment analysis and management. The CFA program sets a globally recognized standard for measuring the competence and integrity of financial analysts, portfolio managers and investment advisers.

Ms. Maria-Gabriella Khoury joined Jordinvest in May 2005, holding a Bachelor of Commerce from the Canadian University of McGill with wide experience in the field of equity research. Meanwhile, Mr. Al-Hawamdeh holds a BA in Business Administration and Finance and an MBA from Southampton University, in England. He also obtained an MSc in International Securities, Investment and Banking from the ISMA Centre at University of Reading in England.
Mr. Hani Jawabreh, president of CFA Jordan, stated, "CFA Jordan is a national organization and member of the CFA Institute in the USA. It includes 24 members of CFA charter holders. The CFA Charter is the world's finest professional certificate in the field of financial analysis and investment management. Jawabreh expressed his gratitude to Jordinvest for sponsoring the CFA's annual ceremony and welcomed Mr. Helmut Henshil, who is responsible for the CFA branches in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Henshil delivered a lecture at the ceremony discussin "The Neuroscience of Investment Behavior: Beyond Behavioral Finance."
