ALBAWABA - On the commemoration of the 29th of October Republic Day and the centenary of the Republic's foundation, a spectacular maritime parade unfolded in Istanbul's iconic Bosphorus Strait.
This grand event featured a procession of 100 warships, including the prominent TCG Anadolu, sailing gracefully through the strait. Aerial footage also captured this maritime spectacle.

Led by Navy Commander Ercüment Tatlıoğlu, the official naval procession celebrated Republic Day and the Republic's 100th year. It saw 100 vessels and 24 helicopters participating in this impressive display.
At the forefront, the TCG Anadolu, guided by Rear Admiral Kadir Yıldız as the Navy Commander, added to the maritime pageantry.

A total of 7,896 personnel made their presence felt in this ceremony, a collective of 1,217 officers, 3,826 non-commissioned officers, and 2,853 specialist sergeants and privates, all part of this remarkable celebration.

The maritime parade commenced at 5:00 PM, as the TCG Anadolu's salute to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan set the tone for the festive celebrations in Istanbul's Bosphorus Strait.
