ALBAWABA - A Turkish military cargo plane crashed on the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan, the Turkish defence ministry announced on Tuesday.
According to the ministry, the C-130 military cargo plane was heading back home, but it crashed on the Georgian-Azerbaijani border.
"Our C-130 military cargo plane, which took off from Azerbaijan to return home, has crashed at the Georgia-Azerbaijan border," the ministry posted on X.
Authorities said that rescue operations are underway to look for survivors.
The number of casualties or how many people were on board is still unknown.
