Turkey’s President Ahmet Necdet Sezer is scheduled to visit Iran this month in a further sign that the often-strained relations between the two neighbors are improving, an official statement said.
During his visit on June 17-18, Sezer is to meet with his counterpart Mohammad Khatami "to discuss bilateral as well as regional and international issues," the statement by Sezer's office said.
Officials from the two countries have recently said that bilateral ties are improving. (albawaba.com)
