The Tunisian team of athletes, who have received an organ transplant, left on Friday to the Canadain city of London in order to participate in "2005 World Transplant". This event is held every three years under the invitation of the World Transplant Games Federation, reported the July 16 edition of Al-Sahafa newspaper.

This is the third participation for the Tunisian team in this unique sports event. The Tunisian team includes 10 athletes (two girls and eight 8 young men). Eight of the Tunisians have undergone kidney transplant. The team is accompanied by two doctors and six other persons to help them and encourage them through the games.

The Tunisian team will take part in the swimming, tennis, bicycle, ping pong and volleyball games. It should be mentioned that Tunisia is the only North African state to participate in these games together with 56 other states and about 2,000 participants.
