Tunis hosts “Traveler Glass” workshop

The Center of Arts and Crafts in Tunis is currently hosting “verre voyageur” (traveler glass) workshop, which was organized by UNESCO. La Presse reports that the workshop brings together glass artisans from Algeria, France, Italy, Lebanon, Libya, Malta and Morocco. The aim of the workshop, which started on September 11, is to promote glass craftsman. The workshop runs until September 17 with the main topics “presentation and development of techniques and skills”, “transmission and innovation of cultural heritage” and “improving marketing skills in glass craft industry”.
