Trade Exchange between Iran, Turkey Stands at $730m

Trade exchange between Iran and Turkey stood at $731.85 million in the first seven months of this year, reported the official Iranian news agency (IRNA). 

The volume of trade exchange between the two countries last year stood at $558,616 million, said a report by Turkey's institute for governmental statistics on Sunday.  

According to the report, Turkey's export to the Islamic Republic of Iran stood at $195.89 million and the volume of the country's import from Iran stood at $535.98 million.  

In the first seven months of the year 2000, Turkey's export to 

Iran stood at $136.4 million while the country's import from Iran stood at $422.57 million, said the report. 

Iran's major exports to Turkey is crude oil. The total volume of Turkey's export stood at $17.57 billion, while the country's import stood at $23.64 billion in the first seventh months of the current year, the report said.
