Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Hassan Rowhani said in Kuwait City on Monday that Iran is ready to expand cooperation with regional states to fight against the proliferation of nuclear weapons.
During a meeting with Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jabir al-Sabah, Rowhani added Iran's peaceful nuclear energy is an inevitable urgency for all member states of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), IRNA reported.
"Iran has never sought nuclear weapons and will never do it," he stressed.
