Syrian President, Bashar Al-Assad received at Rawda Palace on Friday Member of the Iraqi Revolutionary Command Council and the Special Envoy of the Iraqi President, Ali Hasan Almajid and his accompanying delegation.
Almajid conveyed a message to Al-Assad from the Saddam Hussein related to the Iraqi issue.
While in Damascus, Almajid absurd reports that the Iraqi leader was negotiating possible exile in a sympathetic state. "This is absurdity," he said. "It's a psychological war technique, and if you ask an infant in Iraq he wouldn't believe such reports." (Albawaba.com)
