ALBAWABA - Earlier today, three people were injured, including a Moscow bar owner, when a vehicle bomb exploded on the Russian capital's south side.

According to an unidentified law enforcement official quoted by the state news agency TASS, Viktor Mishachev, the CEO and co-founder of the Shaker Group, was admitted to the hospital following the alleged bombing. The explosion also injured Mishachev's 16-year-old son and another person.

Social media users posted pictures of what seemed to be Mishachev's SUV, which looked mostly functional but for a little hole in the hood beneath the front windshield.

According to police, Mishachev may have been singled out for a personal or professional disagreement, they said state media. The Russian Investigative Committee's Moscow section, which looks into serious crimes, announced that it has opened a criminal inquiry into an attempted murder.

According to RIA Novosti, which quoted an unidentified law enforcement officer, one of the victims' hands was torn off by the explosion. Previous reports said that the explosion happened when someone attempted to take something suspicious from the hood of the car.
