Israeli U.S-made Apache helicopters and naval boat gunships stormed Gaza City beach pre-dawn Tuesday, mainly the beach of al-Shatti refugee camp, located in western Gaza City, Palestinian security sources and witnesses said.
The sources said that Apache helicopters fired at least three missiles targeting a house in the refugee camp, while naval boats continued getting closer to the beach of Gaza City, adding that three Palestinians were wounded, WAFA reported.
Local radio stations in Gaza City reported that Apache helicopters hovered over the western side of Gaza City, mainly over the beach refugee camp, while dozens of naval boats approached the beachside of the camp and targeted Abu Yousif al-Guga's house.
Meanwhile, Israeli troops wounded early Tuesday five civilians in the West Bank city of Jenin, WAFA and witnesses said.
Local sources reported that around 200 Israeli soldiers backed by tanks and armoured vehicles stormed Barta'a village and opened heavy machine gunfire at civilians' houses, causing a state of panic among civilians, mostly children and women.
They added that five civilians were injured with live bullets in different parts of their bodies. (Albawaba.com)
