A head-on collision on Monday between a car and a truck on a road linking two cities in the Iranian province of Lorestan left three dead and three injured, the provincial police department's public relations office reported on Tuesday.
"The forces are looking into the matter to find the cause of the
accident," police told the official Iranian news agency (IRNA).
Iran has one of the highest rates of road accidents in the world with an average of 200,000 reported annually.
