Rescue services have recovered the first 30 bodies of people killed in Austria's Alpine funicular tragedy and placed them in a side gallery to the tunnel where the fire took place, rescue workers said.
The bodies were due to be brought out of the tunnel later Monday.
A fire on the Kitzsteinhorn funicular Saturday killed 155 skiers and snowboarders who were trapped inside the train.
Their carriage was 600 meters (yards) inside a three kilometer (1.8 mile) tunnel when the fire broke out -- KAPRUN (AFP)
