A Thai Airways International Boeing 737 was gutted by fire Saturday on the tarmac at Bangkok's domestic airport, but no casualties were reported, officials said.
"The fire started at around 3.00 pm local time (0800 GMT) on a flight destined for Chiang Mai as passengers were boarding," Sukanda Charoenvej, an air traffic control official, told AFP.
