A hostage-taking incident in a boys guidance school in northern Tehran ended Thursday after the gunman was arrested by Iranian police forces. According to IRNA, an armed man entered the Razi guidance school in northern Tehran, and took some 100 students and teachers as hostages. He fired several shots into the air.
The police forces surrounded the school immediately and the incident ended peacefully after the arrest of the hostage taker. The identity of the gunman has not been made known.
