Syrian Vice President Head to China for Bilateral, Regional Talks

Syrian Vice President Abdel-Halim Khaddam left Damascus on Saturday for China on a four-day visit, reported the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA). 

The visit comes within the framework of the ongoing efforts to further strengthen Syrian-Chinese cooperation in the various fields, a statement said, cited by the agency.  

Khaddam is accompanied by a high-ranking delegation, including ministers of planning, industry and agriculture. 

During his visit, the Syrian official will hold talks with Chinese officials on the latest developments in the middle East, aspects of commercial and economic cooperation between Syria and china and other issues of mutual interest, SPA said – Albawaba.com
