Prime ministers of Tunisia and Syria will co-chair a joint higher committee in Tunis on January 21, reported ArabicNews.com.
The two sides will discuss ways of enhancing cooperation in various fields, especially in trade and tourism, said the news service.
A trade agreement between the two countries was signed in 1997, according to Syria's economy and foreign trade' website.
Based on the agreement, several Syrian and Tunisia products, such as agricultural, and industrial products, are exempted from customs duties -- Albawaba.com
