Syrian Prime Minister Naji al-Otri on Wednesday said he sees no hope for peace with Israel under the government of Ariel Sharon.
"There is no hope under this Zionist administration for achieving just and comprehensive peace," Otari told reporters in Damascus after a meeting with Lebanese officials to promote economic cooperation.
Earlier in his speech, he said that Syrian and Lebanon reviewed the latest developments in the region, adding that both sides stressed their commitment to peace based on Madrid Conference, Beirut Summit and UN related resolutions providing for a full Israeli withdrawal from occupied Arab lands.
