Syria’s Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara received in the capital Monday Ambassadors of the EU States to Damascus.
In the course of the meetings, talks focused on the latest regional and international developments and the importance of enhancing relations between Syria and the European Union in various fields, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency.
European Union’s Special Envoy to the peace process in the Middle East Michel Angel Muratinus expressed high appreciation over the cooperation between Syria and the EU, SANA added.
"Syria was always concerned to achieve the security and stability, to realize just and comprehensive peace in the region," Muratinus said, according to the agency. (Albawaba.com)
