Syrian Foreign Minister Farouq Shara will visit Beirut on Friday for several hours to deliver a message from President Bashar Assad to his counterpart Emile Lahoud, reported the official Kuwait news agency (KUNA).
Citing Syrian officials, the agency said that the letter would “detail the recent developments between Palestinians and Israelis, and the continuous policy of violence used by Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon against the Palestinian people.”
