Syria's President Bashar al-Assad returned back on Tuesday evening to Syria after a short work visit to Egypt in which he held talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubark.
Assad's conversations during the one-day visit started with a closed door meeting with President Mubarak and continued later at the lunch banquet held attended by the Egyptian premier, the foreign ministers of Syria and Egypt, the Egyptian minister of defense as well as the Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa.
