Syria Calls for Speeding Up Syrian-EU Partnership Negotiations

Syrian Prime Minister Mohammad Miro called for placing a work plan to complete the Syrian-European partnership and speed up negotiations between the two sides.  

The call came in a meeting between Miro and European trade commissioner Pascal Lami where both discussed the strengthening and activation of Syrian-European Union (EU) cooperation, particularly in domains of economy, trade, technology and investment.  

 

Miro said the partnership would benefit both parties and would help modernize infrastructure of Syrian old cities.  

 

Miro and Lami also emphasized need of boosting scientific and cultural cooperation, restructuring the industrial sector and proceed with the comprehensive development. (Albawaba.com)
