A 16-year-old student was shot dead at a high school in the west Stockholm suburb of Bromma on Thursday in an attack police believe was carried out by a fellow pupil.
The teenager was fatally shot in the neck in the school toilets while other students looked on, police said.
A suspect arrested near the school shortly after the incident was being questioned. No details about the suspect's age or identity were released but police said they thought the person was another pupil.
Authorities were also withholding the identity of the victim, who as a minor can not be identified under Swedish law -- STOCKHOLM (AFP)
