The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said Thursday that the total number of Palestinian population in the world for the end of 2003 was estimated by 9.6 million.
In its fifth statistical yearbook, PCBS said that 4.8 million live in Diaspora, 1.1 million in Israel, and 3.7 million in the West Bank And Gaza Strip.
PCBS indicated that the rate for Palestinians aged (15-64 years) in Israel was 41.3%, while unemployment rate for Palestinians in the same age was 11.5%, in year 2003. (albawaba.com)
