Algeria's Tourism Minister, Noureddine Moussa, officially launched on Friday in Jijel, the summer season 2005, during a working and inspection visit started Thursday. According to <i>APS</I>, Moussa explained that the choice of Jijel city for this ceremony was motivated by the calm restored in the region after a difficult decade. He thus expected that the city can offer opportunities and assets to open up to tourism.
Jijel is a coastal wilaya in eastern Algeria.
