Two suicide bombers blew themselves up inside a government building in Saudi Arabia Saturday after being surrounded by security forces, Al-Arabiya reported.

The explosion occurred in the southern Shrour region.

No casualties were reported.

Al-Arabiya sources said that the government would soon announce the names of the two suicide bombers, as well as the three others who were killed a day earlier during an attack on a border post along the Yemeni border.

The two bombers had engaged in fierce clashes with Saudi security forces, the television said.

Security forces found a number of explosive belts, hand grenades, and a "large amount" of ammunition, which were in their possession.

Friday, a Saudi security officer and a Yemeni soldier were killed in an attack on a border post between the two countries.

The Interior Ministry in Riyadh said that a border security patrol came under fire near the Wadia post in the southern province of Sharura, killing the unit's chief.

Security forces gave chase, killing three of the attackers, while a fourth was wounded and captured, a ministry spokesman said.

Saudi Arabia is building a three-meter high fence along its southern frontier to combat illegal crossings and arms smuggling.
